Harriet Council age 87, of Athens, IL passed away on Thursday May 20, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins

Mrs. Council was born September 22, 1922 near Farmersville, IL. the daughter of Murray and Alice Kern.

She married Robert Council on November 27, 1947 at the Westside Christian Church in Springfield.

Mrs. Council is preceded in death by her husband Robert Council on August 5, 1980, her parents and a brother Loren Kern.

Mrs. Council was a life time member of Westside Christian Church.
Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.
Rev. Gary Winklemann will be officiating.
Burial will be held at Fancy Creek Cemetery near Sherman.
