James “Jim” Seeley

James “Jim” Seeley, age 64, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at his residence.
He was born on November 26, 1954 in Charleston, IL, the son of Raymond and Elizabeth (Buckler) Seeley.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dortha; step- mother, Alice Seeley; step-children, Neal (wife Jeni) Starkey, Crissy (husband Jim) VanBibber, and Robbie (wife Rachel) Starkey; brothers, John (wife Penny) and Ronald (companion Carol) Seeley; ten step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He married Dortha on June 9, 2001 in Fancy Prairie, Illinois.
Jim was a member of the Middletown Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed his “country” walks and was a diehard New York Yankee fan.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials can be given to the Middletown Presbyterian Church.
