Susan Adams age 46, of Greenview passed away on August 21, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center.

Susan was born January 14, 1963 in Lincoln the daughter of Harold and Carolyn Mosley Rankin. She is preceded in death by her father Harold in 2006.
Susan married James L. Adams on June 18, 1982 in Petersburg.
She graduated from Greenview High School in 1981.
Susan was a member of the Greenview Christian Church.
She worked as the Menard County Deputy Assessor for nine years, the zoning officer of Greenview for seven years and church secretary at Greenview Christian Church for eight years. Susan enjoyed camping and playing the piano at the Greenview Christian Church.
Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home on Monday evening August 24, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at Greenview Christian Church on Tuesday, August 25 at 10:00 AM.
Rev. Mike Farar will be officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery Memorials can be made to The Greenview Christian Church.

Myself (Angie) and my dad (Paul) have been coming into the assessor’s office for many years for real estate appraisal work and Susan was always there with a Great smile and always very friendly to us over the years. We wanted to send our condolences. She will be very missed by us.
