Bil and Pat and the rest of the Fawns Family and the Hamrick Family,
So very sorry for your loss. Fred was a nice guy and always had a smile on his face. His obituary picture couldn’t have captured that smile any better!
May Fred rest in peace.

I have so many memories that come to mind when I think about ole uncle “Red”. If you ever had the chance to spend 800 mile with Dad (Bill Fawns) and Fred in a reg cab pick up at the age of 14 you learned a lot about how to cuss the Cubs for their short comings and to be careful ordering not 1 but 2 double cheese burgers from a truck stop diner and lets not forget the gas passing around and the laughter that followed. As I look back I have nothing but great memories of the time that I got to spend with you. You will be missed down here on earth while you are rejoicing pain free in heaven. Till we meet again sir!!

We were in Boy Scouts together. He always worked for the group…worked around his limitations and tried harder than most to achieve. All he desired was acceptance, not privilege or charity. He was pleasant to be around and always was friendly to all. He was a good guy.

Surprised and very sad to have found Fred’s obituary. There wasn’t a nicer guy around. He lived down the street from my grandma when I was growing up, so I talked to him often as a kid & he was always kind and friendly. Condolences to his friends and family.
