Condolences

  1. She was my Cub Scout Den Mother a long while ago in Peoria. She was an awesome Den Mother. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve and David and their families. Rest in Peace Mrs. Underwood.

  2. So sorry for your loss. My mom (Mae Simpson) babysat her 2 sons back in the 1960’s. I made contact with her and Jim again when we both went to the same church in Peoria, IL. May you find peace during this difficult time knowing that she is at peace with her Saviour.

  3. Stephen, David, and family our sympathy in the loss of your Mother. She was a wonderful person. I so enjoyed the Petersburg classmates get-togethers they gave at their home for the Class of 1953 such great memories and wonderful food. May you find comfort knowing Dad and Mom are together again. Rest in peace Anne.

  4. A sweeter woman will be hard to find. Age and sickness can be so cruel; she managed both with grace, strength and percerverience. When her spouse was was very ill 🤒, even in her frailness she sat at his bedside for a period of time daily. Often napped there beside him. Anne taught me even the strongest person has a few soft spots. Her and Jim were mine. There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t have done for them. Ms. Anne will be sorely missed for some time to come. My condolences to the family near and far. Distance can be such a heart break in solace. May the Lord and the Angels already above give you peace with memories of love, life lived together and all the little things that will come to mind every time you think 🤔 of her.

  5. For Wilma and family;
    Thinking of you in your sorrow. Treasure your memories

  6. So sorry for your loss. Your parents were very special people. They hosted several reunions for former Fancy Prairie Grade School attendees at their home which were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. May God be with you during this sad time.

    Edna Seipel
