Helen I. Beccue, age 85, of Sherman, formerly of Athens, died Thursday December 6, 2007 at the Villa Health Care East in Sherman.

Survived by: Daughter : Marilynn (Don) Ferricks of Athens Son : Glenn (Diana) Beccue of Bloomington

Henry (Ruth) Post of Lincoln William Post of Lincoln Several Nieces & Nephews Mrs. Beccue was born June 20, 1922 in New Holland, Illinois the daughter of Henry and Maud Sarver Post.

She married Edwin Beccue on October 25, 1942 in Middletown, Illinois. Edwin preceded her in death on September 21, 2002. She is also preceded in death by her step mother Helen Post, her sister Donna Roschnafsky and her brother Ernest Post.

She graduated from the New Holland High School. She was a homemaker her whole life.

Mrs. Beccue was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Athens and the Ladies Aid Group.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 11 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens, where friends may call from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M.. Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Athens at 11:00 A.M.
