LeRoy Campbell age 81, of Greenveiw passed away on February 21, 2009 at his residence.

He is survived by: Wife : Dorothy
Two Sons – Bruce ( Judy) of Greenview
Mark (Teresa) of Mason City
Grandchildren – Anna, Emma, Laurie, Ellen, Karenda, and Mark
Great-grandchildren – Hailey Jane, Chloe Marcy, Payton Rose and Ryan
Brother : Dale Campbell of Petersburg
Sister : Donna Wagoner of Petersburg
Several Nieces & Nephews

Leroy was born August 7, 1927 in Tice, Illinois the son of Roy Waterman and Lela Hinrichs Campbell.
He married Dorothy Edwards on March 6, 1946 in Topeka , Kansas
Preceded in death by one Great-grandchild Gage Robert.

Mr. Campbell served in the US Army and Airforce from November 1945 through February 1947 in the Phillipine Islands during World War II.

Mr. Campbell always drove trucks and worked at Amrhein Bakery for 17 years. After that he hauled livestock for several years. Then after his retirement he drove for Prairie International part time for 14 years.
He was a member of Sandy Ridge Trail Riders and in the Teamster local 916. He loved horses and enjoyed the Trail Rides with his family and friends. He camped every week end with his friends and his family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens with funeral service on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M.

Rev. Bill Boyce will be officiating.

Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.
