Catherine Harvey

Catherine Harvey, age 40, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

She was born on April 2, 1986 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Terry and Vickie (Parks) Harvey.

Mourning her passing are her parents; brother, Christopher Harvey; and three aunts, Donna, Peggy, and Connie.

She is preceded in death by her brother, James Earl Harvey.

Catherine graduated from PORTA High School.

She had life-long affection for Mickey Mouse, and her favorite trip was to Walt Disney World. She also enjoyed her trip to Hawaii with her parents.

Catherine will be remembered as being so sweet and innocent.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 held at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens, Illinois.
