Chastain, Orin

Orin Chastain, age 75, of Chesterfield, MO, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Chesterfield, MO.

He is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Keith) Bounds of Chesterfield, MO & Connie Baptist of Dawsonville, GA.; six grandchildren, Jarrett, Lauren, Victoria, Kyle, Madison & Samuel and four brothers, Bob, Gary, Randy & Dennis. Orin was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Bennie & Darrell.

Orin was born on March 1, 1936 near Spokane, Missouri, the son of Efton and Iva Eisenhour Chastain.

He was a self-employed developer.

Orin was previously married to Beverly Gabbert Chastain.

He enjoyed friends, cards, cars, traveling and was a very fun-loving guy.

Visitation will be held on Monday August 22, 2011 from 9:30 until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM at the Sherman United Methodist Church with Mott & Henning Funeral Home assisting the family.

Rev. Dick Piscatelli will be officiating.

Burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
