David “Dave” Shinnebarger, Jr.

David “Dave” Shinnebarger, Jr. age 51, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home.
He was born June 22, 1969, the son of David and Cathy (Horrighs) Shinnebarger.
Dave is survived by his parents; brother, Daniel (Samantha) Shinnebarger; niece and nephew, Joy and Paul Shinnebarger; and special pet, Nugget.
He was an avid car enthusiast and loved toy antique campers and boats. He loved spending time with his family, which included fishing and camping. Dave always looked forward to going to dinners with his family. Boating with his family was his favorite activity throughout his life.
He thoroughly loved animals, including his goats, chickens, and especially his pets.
Dave was a self-employed cosmetologist.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorials can be made to the Animal Protective League in Springfield.

I’m so incredibly sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was such a unique and special person. Dave and I shared a lot of good times and I will be forever grateful for his presence in my life. My deepest sympathy to his family. My heart breaks for your loss.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Your family during this difficult time. Dayve and I had so many wonderful talks, when he come to our house and cut our hair! He is definitely gonna be missed. My heart brakes for all of you. How he admires his nephew and neice. His mother and fanther and brother. He lived u all so very much. ((Hugs)) to the entire Shinnebarger family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. I know what a close loving family you all are and I can’t imagine how hard this is for all of you. I only met Dave a couple of times, but it was apparent that he was a kind, good man. My family will be praying for all of you.

I knew David a long time and we had some great laughs and time goofing off. A great hair professional and took great pride in it. He loved his family. Great sense of humor. You will be missed by many. Rest in eternal peace.

My heart goes out to Dave’s family. I just saw the announcement am crushed with this news. I will miss his humor, his sarcasm, his wit and his friendship.
