  1. So sorry to learn of Cecil’s passing. I worked with him at Revenue. A great guy.

  2. Cecil will be missed by all who knew him. His sense of humor was a perfect match with Gayle’s. Thinking of them always brings a smile to your heart. Rest in peace friend.

  3. Andrew and family, I have so many fond memories of both Gayle and Cecil. Great people who will be missed.
    They are in heaven now.

  4. I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Cecil’s passing. I really enjoyed working with him at
Revenue. I pray God comforts you all.

  5. Oh Andrew! I am so sorry to know such a great person has had such loss. You were one of my favorites. Sorry, it is so hard for one, let alone two. T

  6. Andrew- we are thinking of you at this difficult time. I did not know your dad, but he raised one helluva son so I just know he was a good, good man. We love ya-

  7. I served as state Director of Revenue for 12 years and before then for many years in revenue capacities at the city of Chicago, so I know of what I speak: Cecil was a giant at the Department of Revenue. He had deep knowledge of revenue matters, great integrity, and was respected by local officials across the state who relied on his judgment. He also was a wonderful person, whose friendship I valued. My condolences to Andrew (who I know he was very proud of) and the other members of his family. Brian
