Donald E. King age 75, of Loami, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Springfield. He is survived by companion Jonine Ann Jones, 2 step-daughters, Dana Miller, Dawnn Hopkins; 2 sisters, Nancy Philips, Eleanor Anderson; 1 brother, Richard King; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Don was born December 7, 1935 in Springfield, the son of Henry and Frances Huckerberry King. Don loved woodworking and his dog Sadie. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Feb. 22nd from 12:00 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens. Burial will be held at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens.
