Donna Antonacci

Donna Jean Antonacci age 61, of Athens, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 14, 1956 the daughter of Andrew and Virginia Upton.

She is survived by daughter, Angela (Bob) O’Neal of Sherman; one son, John DiGiovanna Jr. of Athens; three sisters, Joyce (Bruce) Sandwick of Gatlinburg, TN, Janet (Dave) Taapken of Petersburg and Patty Pelo of Jacksonville, NC; four brothers, David (Barb) Garner of SC, Andy (Jan) Upton of New Berlin, Billy Upton of Loami and Mike Upton of Loami; four grandchildren, Dalton, Hunter and Talon DiGiovanna of Athens and John O’Neal of Sherman; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Tina Keaton.

Donna retired from the State of Illinois.

Donna loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 21, 2017 starting at 1:00 PM at Taapers Tap in Greenview.
