Earl Ferguson

Earl Ferguson, age 69, passed away on Thursday April 2nd, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on October 8, 1956 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Earl M. and Evelyn (Carroll) Ferguson.

Earl married Mary Hill December 28, 1978.

Mourning his passing are his wife Mary, his children, Teresa (partner Greg) Ferguson, Tanya (husband James) Walsh, Joshua Ferguson, his brother Timothy (wife Lisa) Ferguson, sister Sandra (husband David) LeMaster, brother-in-law Kerry Pedigo, several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and the light of his life, grandsons Micah Powell and Vinny Walsh.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Brenda Papin, Linda Pedigo, and Lou Ann McCleary.

Earl attended Athens High school. After high school, Earl was a proud union member of local 178 where he was a welder.

Earl loved the outdoors and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. His favorite things were fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, and his best buddies Micah and Vinny.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

There will be no services. The family asks that you celebrate Earl the way you remember him.
