Ferguson, Pauline

Pauline “Polly” Velma Ferguson, 87, passed away on Thursday, March 15th at 6:10 AM at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born July 28, 1919 in Hancock County at LaHarpe, Illinois, the daughter of John E. and Esther (Johnson) Johnson. She worked as a waitress at several places including Tuscola, Petersburg, and Kresge Store in Springfield. She also worked several years for the Hucks Convenience Store in Virdin from which she retired. She married Edward Ferguson of Petersburg. At the passing of Edward, she married Don Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, three sisters and one brother. Services and burial are being handled by the Mott & Henning Funeral Home of Athens, Illinois. A graveside service will be held at the Lebanon Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 24th. Reverend Ken Gennicks will officiate.
