Helen Tuttle, age 71, of Greenview, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at St. John’s Hospital surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband Glenn, two sons, Jack (Stephanie) Tuttle of Greenview and Tony (Brenda) Tuttle of Sherman; three grandchildren, Justin, Austin and Casey; one sister, Beverly Cooper; one brother, Arthur (Sharon) Nance; several brother and sister-in-laws; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Helen was born on August 22, 1944 in Greenview the daughter of Jack and Gladys Nance.

She loved to cook, attend country music concerts, and loved being with and taking care of her beloved family. She also was a member of the Greenview Christian Church. Helen was co-owner and bookkeeper of Tuttle Service of Greenview, IL.

Visitation for Helen will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens, IL from 2-4 PM. Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2 PM at Greenview Christian Church.

Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.

Memorials can be made to Greenview Christian Church.

Helen was kind and considerate even after the divorce very supportive. Thank you Helen for your kind heart and caring mind. Helen loved her family and she was a true wife and mother.

  6. What a beautiful Lady. She was a very good family friend and meant the world to my Mother, Clara Biggs. We will all miss you Helen.

  8. Glenn and family we are so sorry for your loss. Helen was a wonderful woman and she came into our lives when she was in the hospital and my Aunt was also. We all enjoyed each other company for sure. We sure enjoyed the visit when you came to Elkhart and sat on the carport doing corn and vegetables. Wonderful time.
