Condolences

  1. Helen was a wonderful and faithful servant of God’s Church. She gave herself completely to God’s Word and Work. In her many years of service at Moline Gospel Temple, she became a steadfast, dependable and reliable friend to hundreds. Her sunny disposition made it my joy to serve with her on staff. Her life was well invested! Jerry Helms, Pastor, CornerStone Christian Fellowship, Moline, IL.

  2. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Helen. I worked with Helen for many years in the Junior High Department. She was a wonderful Christian lady. Even though it is sad for the family to lose a precious loved one, she is definetely rejoicing with her Savior in Heaven.

  3. And one more thing. I know her new home will be FILLED with irises!

  4. Helen was a joy to work with at Moline Gospel Temple. She was always so supportive of all the music and many times wanted us to repeat the productions she liked. I’m sure she is having a wonderful time in heaven with all her friends who are there.

Family, I am praying for you in this time of loss. Jan Fulkerson, director of music, CornerStone Christian Fellowship, Moline, IL

  5. We were so sorry to hear of Helen going to see sweet Jesus. Helen was a wonderful Christian leader at Moline Gospel Temple and I will never forget her. She gave of herself totally and served God with all her heart. She sought God first and was a great example to us all. We will miss her but will rejoice when we see her again in Heaven. Sally and George Weckel, members of New Hope Foursquare Church (formerly Moline Gospel Temple), Moline, IL.

  6. Helen use to take me as a small child down to the alter and pray with me. This was at the 4/square church in Nianic I’ll. I just by providence came across her obit tonight. A few years ago I wrote her to tell her thank you for that love she showed me when I was young because later in my adult life I became born again. She will be missed but her legacy lives in the lives of all she touched by her commitment to God.

  7. I moved away from the area many years ago, and just found this notice. I remember Helen fondly from my years of attending/growing up at MGT, as someone who was always smiling, always ready to help and offer a kind word. A wonderful, devoted Christian lady who left a great legacy of service to God.
