Hohimer, James “Jim”

Jim Hohimer, 71, of Huxley, Texas passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1941 in Springfield, Illinois to Fieldon Hohimer and Cecil Michaelson Hohimer.

He is survived by mother of his children, Jeannie Hohimer; sons, Jimmy Hohimer of Huxley, Texas, Kirk Hohimer and wife, Sherry of Franklin, Tennessee, and Bobby Hohimer and wife, Amy of Lebanon, Tennessee; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Allison, Breann, Carlos, and Kalei; three brothers, David Hohimer and wife, Margaret, Mark Hohimer and wife, Kathy, and Keith Hohimer and wife, Pat; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Fieldon Hohimer and Cecil Michaelson Hohimer; a brother, Doug Hohimer, and a sister, Pat Lasko.

Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens on Saturday April 20, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, with a graveside services to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
