Howard, Sarah

Sarah Howard, age 59, of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She is survived by her son, Kurdtis Howard at home; sisters, Judi (Delmar) Harlan of Athens and Becci (Jim) Bornac of Snellville, GA; three brothers, Hal (Marti) Goodman of Englewood, CO, William (Joan) Goodman of Tunnel Hill, GA, and Jerry Goodman of Tunnel Hill, GA.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne, Jr. and her parents, Keith and Betty (Barbee) Goodman.

Sarah was born on June 4, 1954 in Springfield, Illinois.

She married Lewis Wayne Howard, Jr. on December 4, 1985.

Sarah attended Springfield High School.

She was employed by Country Companies for several years and was an artist.

Her greatest joy was being a mother to Kurdtis.

Cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held.
