Irene F. Daniels

Irene F. Daniels, age 99, of Cantrall, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on November 12, 1920 in Albion, IL, the daughter of Logan G. and Ethel (McHenry) Smith.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Diane Dailey; two sister – in – laws, Janet and Beverly Daniels; two caregivers, Nancy Kauffold and Sheryl Murphy; four nieces, Lisa (Chris) Tomlin, Shirley Blissit, Judy (Phil) and Pam; and eight nephews, Harvey Daniels Jr. (Lisa), William (Christina) Daniels, Larry Budd, Gary (Karen) Budd, Ernie Bliesner Jr., David Daniels, Mike Daniels and Kevin (Kathy) Smith.

She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, John Daniels in 2004; two brothers, Ivan and Elmer Smith as well as several nieces and nephews.

Irene farmed and worked at the Secretary of State.

Visitation for Irene will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens, IL.

Burial will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
