James Muller

Jim Muller, age 65, of Athens died May 27, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center following complications from a stroke on May 13.

Mr. Muller was born December 1, 1942 in Springfield, Illinois the son of George A. and Dorothy Harbauer Muller.

He married Phyllis Markey at Holy Family Church in Athens on July 27 1963.

Preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Monica, infant brother Billy and brother in law Mike Aiello.

He worked with his father and was a self-employed contractor for most of his life.

He was a member of the Holy Family Church, served in the National Guard, was a volunteer fireman for Athens and was also very active in the Lion’s Club. Jim was very active in the community and was a fun loving grandpa that could fix anything.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Athens. Father John Burnette officiating
