Jim Caldwell, age 63, of Jacksonville, formerly of Fancy Prairie, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He is survived by a large and loving family.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Robbie Caldwell.
He was born June 20, 1952 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Fred Louis and Carol McCue Caldwell.
Jim worked for the State of Illinois for over thirty years.
Memorial gathering will be from 10:00 until time of memorial service at 10:30 AM at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church in Springfield, on Friday, May 6, 2016.
Cremation rites will be accorded.

We are saddened to hear about Jimmy’s passing. We are blessed to have known him. He is a caring, loving, wonderful man who is sure to be missed by so many. Bryan has very fond memories from working with him. Kim may have only met him a few times but it is clear to both of us how much he cares about his family and friends; he would put any of them before himself.
All of Jimmy’s family will be in our prayers. May God bless you with comfort during this time through the memories shared through the years.
