The Hayden-Eden family has lost John R. Eden a wonderful person who touched many lives during his life. His Long Nine Museum in Athens, IL will be remembered by many who toured it and enjoyed conversations with John about President Lincoln and his life. My family has golden family memories. May John rest in peace.

John was an ‘electronic marvel’ when it came to electronics as well as his Honest ABE knowledge– my long time Ham Radio friend, John, KT9H, will be missed! John co-founded the 1610 AM Radio station to promote events and places in Menard County– a Tourism station licensed by Menard County with a special ‘voice’ for Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site! Prayers for his wife and daughter.

John was well know for his knowledge of Mr. Abraham Lincoln and we ALL will miss John!
