Leila M. Johnson age 89 of Petersburg, formerly of Athens, died July 9, 2008 at Menard Convalescent Center.

Miss Johnson was born August 27, 1918 in Greenview, IL the daughter of Walfrid and Abbie Hornback Johnson.
She was employed by Fronmueller-Wilson Manufacturing in Athens for 48 years until her retirement.
She graduated from Athens High School in 1936.
Her hobbies included gardening and music.
Graveside services will be held Monday at Indian Point Cemetery near Athens at 10:30 a.m.. Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens is in charge of arrangements.
