Kathryn Cooper

Kathryn Cooper, age 84, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter Hollie (Dennis) Dean of Belle, MO; two sons,

Michael (Cindy) Cooper of Tampa, FL, Kevin (Janet) Cooper of Springfield, IL; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Rachel, Ashley, Joey and five great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill in 2005, both her parents and ten siblings.

Kathryn was born on September 28, 1932 in Clarksville, TN the daughter of Lundy and Jenny Huffman – Holt.

She was a homemaker most of her life.

She was also a member of the Sweetwater Christian Church in Sweetwater.

She loved watching RFD TV, listening to gospel music, enjoyed entertaining and cooking for friends and family at her house and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church.

Visitation for Kathryn will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 10 AM – 12 PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral service will immediately follow at 12 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery near Sweetwater.

John Swinford will be officiating.
