Mary Ann Fortney

Mary Ann Fortney, age 65, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She is survived by husband, Kevin; three children, Dwayne Fortney, Jeff Fortney, and Malinda Blakeley; grandchildren, Jacob Blakeley, Chelby Blakeley, and Anthony Fortney; and one brother, Steve Huckabee.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents.
Mary Ann was born November 10, 1949 in Jacksonville, Illinois the daughter of Harold and Mary Lee Huckabee
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, and cross-stitching. Mary Ann loved baking and gardening.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 31, 2015 from 10:00 until time of funeral services 11:00 AM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home.
Burial will be held at held at Rose Hill Cemetery near Petersburg.

MARY YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY,
I REMEMBER WHEN I LIVED IN PETERSBURG. AND YOU USE TO COME OVER TO MY HOME OR MY MOTHERS PLACES,AND FOR HOURS WE WOULD SIT AND DRINK COFFEE AND JUST TALK FOR HOURS,

Rip. Prayers to Mary Ann’s family. She was a good friend to all who knew her. Bless all her family always. May God give her family strength to heal from their loss of wife, mother and sister.
