Jane Kennedy, age 85, of Taylorville, passed away on July 5, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Survived by: Husband – Ralph Two Daughters – Sheri (Vance) Jefferies of Taylorville Diana (Bryan) Woods of Bloomington Four Grandchildren – Brett Woods of Georgia – Jeff (April) Jefferies of Cantral – Melissa Woods of Bloomington – Andrea (David) Stockon of Taylorville Four Great-grandchildren – Steven & Kristen Jefferies, Zachary Stockon, and Lillian Givens One Brother – Harry (Evelyn) Cummings Several Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins Jane was born August 20, 1922 in Springfield, Illinois the daughter of Calvin and Helen Shaw Cummings.
She married Ralph Kennedy on November 5, 1941 in Auburn, Illinois.
Jane loved working with flowers
Services will be held at the Athens Christian Church with visitation being held from 6 until 8:00 PM on Monday and where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday.
Burial will be at Farmers’ Point Cemetery
Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Mott & Henning Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
