King L. Tuttle, of Greenview, went home to be with his Lord on February 24 th at the age of 82, after a long battle with cancer.

King was born on August 9, 1935 at Sandridge, the son of Leberyl and Grace Tuttle. King married Shirley M. Beadle on January 9, 1982, at the First Baptist Church in Petersburg.

King was preceded in death by his Father; Mother; Sister, Joy Todd; Sister, Betty Kinney; Sister, Bonnie Mann; and Brother, Wayne Tuttle.

Mr. Tuttle owned and operated Tuttle’s Welding Shop in the community of Greenview since 1964. He was known for his faithful services to the farmers in the area. He served on the Board of the village of Greenview for 20 years. Mr. Tuttle was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenview where he served as a Deacon for 45 years. (Started in 1973) He loved his Church and His Lord and was a faithful husband and a loving father.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley; daughter, Pamela Mathes (husband Joe) of Elkhart Lake, WI; son, Jeffrey Tuttle (wife Debbie) of Greenview; daughter, Betty Jo Davis (husband John) of Rosewell, NM; step-son, Paul Beadle (wife Pam) of Indianapolis, IN; step-son, Don Beadle (wife Hyong Son) stationed in South Korea; step-daughter, Teresa Hake (husband Gary) of Nashville, IL; step-son, Dale Beadle of Springfield; step-son, David Beadle (wife Amy) also of Springfield, IL.

He is also survived by three sisters, Margaret Hopkins of Fort Collins, CO, Geraldine Karrick of Apache Jct, AZ, and Linda Walker of Apache Jct. AZ; three brothers, Glenn Tuttle of Greenview, Howard Tuttle (wife Linda) of Springfield, David Tuttle (wife Deb) of Rochester; and one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Tuttle of Apache Jct., AZ.

King had 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, who he loved dearly. Also, one Aunt, Marilyn LaMaster.

Cremation rites have been accorded by his personal wishes.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 3, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Greenview from 10:00 until time of memorial service at 11:00AM.  Private burial of cremains will be held afterwards.
