Robert Kriss age 85, died March 31, 2008 at Lewis Christian Homes in Springfield.
Mr. Kriss was born on May 24, 1922 in Chicago, IL the son of Joseph and Lattee Kriss.
He married Eleanor A. Goforth in Chicago on June 12, 1943
He is preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Goforth Kriss on January 11, 2008.
Mr. Kriss was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. Mr. Kriss retired from Central Illinois Light Company on October 1, 1982 after being employed there for 38 years.
Graveside services and burial of ashes for Robert and Eleanor will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens.
