Condolences

  1. As a former chaplain, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village, I appreciated the love and spirit of the Garmers as they came to volunteer monthly on Sunday mornings. Leann would sing-assist with communion service and just be a ray of sunshine for the staff and residents. In the last 5 years-since I have been away from Lewis-I was pleased to have Leann visit Athens Christian and to eventually become an attender in my Sunday School class.
Just a couple of weeks ago we talked at the end of class and she told me of her faith and optimism in dealing with her illness and treatment. Our prayers go out to Ed and each friend and family member who will miss our friend! Blessings through to all through the Lord she loved! 🙂 Tom Novy

  2. We became friends with Leann here at Lewis Memorial Christian Village over 2 years ago. She did Christmas caroling this past year, here at Lewis in the nursing home with several of us. That is when we really discovered how wonderfully blessed she was with her beautiful voice. We were so pleased when she and Ed married and became our neighbors. She was a real sweetheart and EVERYONE here at Lewis loved her and is going to miss her terribly. We know we will see Leann again. We are here for you Ed for whatever you need. May God bless you and help you get through this time of sorrow. Your Friends, John and Debbie Rowley

  3. May the memories you cherish comfort you in this time of sorrow.
With Sympathy, will keep y’all in prayer.
