Lee Walters, age 41, of Sherman, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
Lee is survived by his mother, Anita Walters of Sherman; two sisters, Sherry (Doug) Way of Sherman, and Lora (Doug Robertson) Walters of Sherman; nieces and nephews, Katheryn McKennedy, Austin Robertson, and Abigayle Robertson; and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lindel Jr. in 2005; his paternal grandparents, Lindel Sr. and Agnes Turasky Walters; and his maternal grandparents, J. Edwin and Irene Dirks Spragg.
Lee was born June 14, 1973 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Lindel and Anita Spragg Walters.
He graduated from Williamsville High School and attended Lincoln Land Community College.
Lee farmed in the Sherman area.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Saturday May 9, 2015 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Memorials can be made to the Sherman Public Library.
