Mary Juanita Collins-Hughes, age 86, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home near Petersburg, Illinois.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Loren) Keltner of Sherman and Jeannie (Gene) Coffman of Chandler, AZ; four grandchildren, Brian (Melina) Collins, Jason (Judy) Yoakum, Josh Collins and Ashlee Coffman; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, three sisters, Darlene Naylor, Carol (Harold) McHenry and Betty Swearingen; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Carl Collins; sons, Brad Collins and Butch Collins; siblings, James, Alberta, Dorothy, Vivian, George, Bill and Frank.

She was born January 30, 1931 in Kilbourne, Illinois, the daughter of Fredrick and Gracie (Thomas) Roberts.

She married Carl Collins in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1984.

Mary worked for the Department of Revenue as an office clerk for approximately 30 years.

Mary wished to have a private family service and her family is honoring her wishes.

Graveside services will be held at Kilbourne Cemetery with Rev. Ken Gennicks officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
