Mary Kahbeah, age 70, of Talulla, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center.

Mary is survived by her husband Larry, three daughters; Melissa Kahbeah, Marsha Kahbeah and Mavis (Nicholas) Cooke. Two brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was born July 8, 1945 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Homer and Emma Lou Pettit.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 9-11 AM at Calvary Baptist Church in Tallula, IL. Funeral Services for Mary will immediately follow the visitation at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church in Tallula, IL.

Pastor Shawn Schaeffer will be officiating.

  1. Marsha-I just want you to know how deeply saddened I was to hear of your Mother’s passing. I consider you a true friend and just want you to know that Rod and I are thinking about you and pray that you will find comfort and peace.

  3. I was sorry to read Mary’s obituary in today’s paper. Over the years we would visit–sometimes at the mall, grocery shopping or visiting at Countryside Estates. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers–

  4. I am very sorry to have missed Mary’s services due to illness. I loved Mary so very much, she was such a beautiful person inside and out-she will be missed tremendously. We will meet again someday in Heaven.
