Nancy Meadows, age 80 of Athens, passed away on December 22, 2014 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
She is survived by her daughter September (Stan Kitchens) Shipman, granddaughter Andria (Douglas) Wentzel, and two great-grandchildren John Montgomery and Jaylen Walls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter Erica Shipman Walls.
Nancy was born September 13, 1934 in Springfield, IL the daughter of William and Emma (Elston) Polk.
Private services to be held by family at a later date.
Nancy was a huge animal lover and memorials can be made to Pets Without Parents, P.O. Box 166 Easton, IL, 62633
