Norma J. Ramsey

Norma Jean Kendall Ramsey, age 91, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her residence in Athens.

Norma was born April 4,1931 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Lester and Ruth (Bunn) Kendall.

She married Russell Ramsey on June 28, 1953 at Asbury Methodist Church in Springfield, IL.

She retired from the Illinois Department of Revenue on December 31, 1991.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Rex) Kieffer, Greg Ramsey and Gayle (Randy) Stauffer; grandchildren, Darcy (Brian) Reiffe, Brandon McKinney, Stephanie and Bailey Stauffer; step-grandchildren, James and Keyan Kieffer; great-grandchildren, David and Sam Reiffe and Ethan McKinney.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 10:00 until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
