Condolences

  1. Joan and Marty – you have our love and prayers during this time of sadness. Joan, we have known your mother all of our lives and she was a wonderful person.

  2. Hi Joan & family We have often wondered where everyone had gotten to and how your mom was doing. You have our love and prayers. Mom is 93 and still living by herself just around the corner from me. She should be with someone but she does not want to budge from her house. Take care and all our love to you and family. Mom (Doris O’Neal) & families. Daughter Sharon

  3. Please know that in this time of grief, that you are in my prayers. Bo and Wilma were very close to my family. They were such good people. We know they are in a better place, together again. My maiden name, is Nancy Jacaway. May God and family bless you, in this time of loss. Take care and God Bless.

  4. My sympathy to you, Lisa, and all of your family. Whenever I think of going up to Athens to visit the O’Neal clan when I was young, it was always a happy time. We must have made at least four trips a year. One for Pearl and Lucille’ birthdays in March; for Bill and Chick’s birthdays end of May/June; one to go to the State Fair; and of course the many family reunions at New Salem. One special memory is Wilma’s home-made chicken and noodles. It was sooooo good. My dad, Bob, and your dad were always close; and they looked so much alike. One year we were all at Pearl and Bill’s for dinner. The women were giving the men trouble for ducking out on the clean-up. So the guys said they would wash the dishes. The ladies went somewhere, and when they got back there was so much grease in the dish water that nothing got clean. We all laughed for years about that. I lost my mom last September. She was in an assisted living/care center; and had alzheimer’s for several years. Being an only child like you, it is hard when your parents are now both gone. We just have to always remember the “good times.” My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Betty
