Amy M. Orr age 32, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2012 surrounded by her family & friends. .
Amy is survived by her husband John V. Orr IV, a son Jonathan (JJ) Orr both of Middletown her parents Darrel & Pam Stewart of Greenview, a brother Andy Stewart of Springfield, a grandmother Imogene Sudduth of Springfield and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless friends.
Amy was born as Amy Michelle Stewart on March 15, 1979 in Springfield, to Darrel Lynn and Pamela Sue (Sudduth) Stewart. Amy attended school at Sherman/Williamsville until she moved in 1991 to Greenview where she would graduate with honors. On October 5, 1996, Amy married her true love John Vinson Orr IV and together they have a son Jonathan (JJ) Jeremy Orr. Amy later graduated from Robert Morris College with a degree in Computer Networking.
Amy soon found a job at Hobbs Corporation in Springfield, IL where she worked for about 13 years. In 2002, John and Amy purchased their home in Middletown, IL where they reside today. Amy truly enjoyed square dancing with her husband and son in Lincoln, IL and spending time in her various online groups where she had many friends.
Visitation will be held at Athens Christian Church, where friends may call from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 and where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Casey McCormick officiating.
Burial will be held at Irish Grove Cemetery near Middletown.
Memorials can be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.

Richard and I was so sorry to hear about Amy. When Andy shared with Richard about Amy, I feel that we missed the opportunity to know a great lady. Our sympathy goes out to you and JJ. God be with you and bless you during this time. Sending our prayers and love. Richard and Sue List

I am Bob Rankin’s daughter. I was so sorry to hear of Amy’s passing and wanting you to know that I was thinking of you two in your time of need. Her and dad are having a good time.

Pam & family..So..so sorry to hear about Amy. To me she was always a sweet kind person. You two have our deepest sympathy. Our heartfelt prayers are with you.

I am very sorry to hear about Amy. Your family have been patients of mine for years at the dental office and I will never forget her. Amy was always a very upbeat person, who seemed to look on the brighter side of life. I admire her for this quality and will truly miss her. I feel honored to have met her. Take care of yourselves and your loss. My thoughts are with your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Amy,s passing I worked with her at Hobbs-Honeywell She always had a smile on her face and was a very strong person.nice to everyone.I will remember her that way.My heart goes out to Her Family today and always. Prayers

I am so sorry to hear of Amy’s passing. My husband just checked her blog for an update today and shared the sad news. I meet Amy several years ago through Flylady and got the pleasure of meeting her in person several times. She was a great person and will be missed! My prayers are with you all. Hugs Jodi

We are sorry to here about Amy`s passing. My Wife and I worked with Amy at Honeywell Hobb She was such a Great and Caring Person,I know that she will be deeply Missed.
