Pamela Meints

Pamela Meints, age 79, of Athens, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home.

She was born April 16, 1943 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Quentin L. and Shirley (Lilya) Beecham.

Pamela married Donald Meints on September 7, 1963 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin, Illinois.

Mourning her passing are her husband, Donald; sons, Vance Meints of South Carolina, Craig (wife Amy) Meints of Florida, and Joel (wife Jennifer) Meints of Lincoln; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (wife Rose) Beecham of Pekin, IL; and two nephews.

Pam was a member of the Athens Christian Church.

She loved gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 29 from 9:00 AM until time of  celebration of life at 10:00 AM at the Athens Christian Church, with Rev. Ken Gennicks officiating.

Private family burial will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Athens Christian Church.
