Condolences

  1. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Annette. I was the Bureau Chief of Construction in District 2, Dixon several years and talked to Annette several times over the phone and got to meet a few times on trips to the Central Office. It was always good to hear her friendly voice. She was a great help to people in the districts. Our eldest daughter is Tammy Annette, so there was something else we had in common. May God’s blessings be with you. Daryl Stienstra, retired

  2. Dear Ken and Family, So sorry to hear about Belle (as Ed “Woody” Woodman called her). An early memory of working with her in the Bureau of Construction came in my first year there. In the summer of 1970, she pretended to be my secretary and called my girl friend who was working for the Secretary of State in an office downtown and arranged for a lunch date. Happy to say that girl friend became my wife. Norma and I will be married 41 years this June. Annette was a special person and will missed.

God bless, Tony & Norma Durbin, Taylorville, IL

  3. I worked at IDOT with Annette. She was a wonderful lady and always so helpful. May God bless all of you at this difficult time. I am sure she is at home with her God. Linda Lehnert, Springfield
