Patricia Starwalt

Patricia Ann Reider Starwalt, age 94, of Sherman, passed away On Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her residence.

Patricia was born in Westervelt, IL on October 20, 1930 the daughter of Walter Charles and Janice Irene Hall Reider.

She married Lloyd Starwalt on June 18, 1949 at Shelbyville, Illinois.

Mourning her passing are her sons, Jack (Sharon) Starwalt of Hot Springs Village, AR and Steven (Tracy) Starwalt of Sherman; daughters, Pamela (David) Poock of Hot Springs Village, AR and Sharon (Randall Joe) Goodman of Carlinville; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don (Linda) Starwalt; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, parents; one brother; two sisters; one granddaughter, and a great-grandson.

She was a member of the Sherman Methodist Church.

Patricia loved fishing and was a square dancer for over 57 years. She loved camping, sewing, crocheting, and playing cards.

She was a stay-at-home mom and helped her husband with bookkeeping with his job.

Memorials can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the Sherman Methodist Church.

Visitation for Patricia will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Sherman Methodist Church with Pastor Jon Carroll officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Glenwood Cemetery in Shelbyville also Pastor Jon Carroll officiating.
