Patrick T. Cunningham, 73, of Sherman, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Unity Point-Trinity Hospital in Rock Island, IL surrounded by his wife, four daughters and family.

Patrick was born in Kewanee, IL on March 17, 1948, son of Margaret (Walwer) and Arlon Cunningham. He graduated from Kewanee High School and joined the United States Air Force. Patrick married Paula J. (Combes) Cunningham on June 23, 1979.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Paula, four children Roxie McCullar of Sherman, Tina (Jeff) Hoecker of Sherman, Laura (Martin) Sommerfeld of Virden and Lisa Cunningham (Jamie Hendricks) of Virden; six grandchildren Jourdan (Jeff) Bergstrom, Taylor (Jeremy) Fastenau, Rachel McCullar, Marshall Riebeling, S. Patrick was preceded in death by his son Michael Patrick Cunningham; parents; siblings, Mary, George, and Paul.

Patrick retired from CASSCOMM Cable in 2015 and from that day he enjoyed to the fullest his six Saturdays and one Sunday a week. He enjoyed fishing, traveling with his wife and family and golfing with his friends who called him “Patty”. Patrick was always smiling and laughing with a funny joke if he could stop chuckling long enough to deliver the punchline.

Visitation for Patrick will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 from 1:00 PM until time of funeral services at 3:00 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman, IL where Patrick was a faithful member.
