Condolences

  1. My heart breaks I didn’t go see her at the bridge like I said I was going to do and just never made it. Maybe it was suppose to be that way though because it was just a month or so ago that my last memory will now be her telling me she loved me and she would see me later…later it will be. I can hear her now telling my dad about Halle, how I’ve been and the latest Sweetwater news. We know she was struggling the last year or so, now she struggles no more. Rest in peace Grandma Meteer and I love you too!

  2. My daughter and I had a wonderful visit with Patsy, just before Easter! She was my mom’s best friend, since kids! I learned to sew because of Patsy! Our family loved her dearly!

  3. We are so sorry to hear this news. Please accept our sincere condolences and always know that you can call on us if needed.

  4. Wade and the entire family, my wife Dena and I are sorry to hear of Mrs. Meteer’s passing. Please accept our condolences.

  5. Bill and family,

  6. Wade, Jody and families. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days ahead.

  7. Sorry for your loss. I’m in the sewing guild and met Pat on my first bus trip and loved her every since, my husband had 2 bouts with cancer she always asked about him.God be with your family. I’m out of town this week for the service. I will miss her. 😢

  8. I met Patsy when I joined the sewing guild. She was a fantastic quilter and loved spending time with her at sewing retreats. She will surely be missed.

  9. We are so very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. She was such a remarkable lady and a friend. My heart just sank to my knees when I found out she had gone. I guess she and Mom can now keep busy sewing Angel Britches.

I pray that risen from the dead,
    I may in glory stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
But a needle in my hand.

I’ve never learned to sing or play,
So let no harp be mine –
From birth until my dying day
    Plain sewing’s been my line.

    Therefore, accustomed to the end
    To plying useful stitches,
I’ll be content if asked to mend
    The little angels’ britches.

Please accept our sincerest sympathy on Pat’s passing.

Paul Rasch and Deb Hoover Rasch
