Patti S. Barrow

Patti S. Barrow, age 71, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at her residence.

Patti was born on December 12, 1954 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Melvin and Dorothy (Huddleston) Wanless.

She married Ed Barrow on June 12, 1975 in Springfield, IL.

Mourning her passing are a daughter, Lindsay Barrow of Springfield; a son, Matt Barrow of Springfield; and grandchildren, Joseph and Delaney Barrow of Auburn and Aubrey and Zoey Efrem of Springfield.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed in 2012; and her mother, Dorothy in 2013.

Patti worked for the State of Illinois Department of Revenue for 39 years, retiring in 2014.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Per Patti’s request, no services will be held.
