Rebecca L. Wheatley

Rebecca L. Wheatley, age 42, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at her residence.

She was born June 2, 1979 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Joanne (Downs) Wheatley.

Mourning her passing are her children, Justin (wife Destiny) Smith, Brookelynn Smith, Katelynn Smith, and Jeremy Smith Jr.; mother, Joanne Wheatley; sister, Kathleen Wheatley; brother, Shawn Wheatley; a grandchild, Jasper Smith; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Wheatley in 2005.

Rebecca graduated from Williamsville High School.

She was a member of the Williamsville Christian Church.

A memorial service for Rebecca will be held at the Williamsville Christian Church at a later date.  Cremation rites will be accorded.
