Carol June Ruggles Rogers age 50, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Rogers; a step-son, Christopher Rogers; her two mothers, Eleanor Ruggles & Mary Funkhouser; step-father, Vernon Funkhouser; siblings, Richard Ruggles, Jr., Mary L. Ruggles, Debby Sullivan, Terry Ruggles, Henry Ruggles, Kevin Schultz, Margaret Leka, and Lisa Carroll; several beloved nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Albert & Ilene Ruggles; her siblings, Matthew Ruggles, Ronnie Ruggles, Tracy Ruggles, and Louis Ruggles; and her father, Richard Ruggles Sr.. Carol had a lifetime commitment to the health services. She enjoyed cellphones, music, cooking out & camping at other friend’s houses.

Visitation will be held at to Mott & Henning Funeral Home, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday April 6, 2011 and where the funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Burial will be held at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens, IL.
