S. Lorita Vail

S. Lorita Vail, age 80, of Williamsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 with family by her side at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.

 She was born August 12, 1943 in Greenwood, Arkansas, the daughter of Clarence and Donna (Hartsfield) Buckner.

 Lorita was married to Ed Sapp for 33 years. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2017.

 Mourning her passing are a daughter, Angie (husband Shawn) Hartman; two sons, Denny Sapp and Mike Sapp; three granddaughters, Ashley Bayley, Desi and Lexi Hartman; two sisters, Jean Routson and Betty Bonnett; and several nieces and nephews.

 She also is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rick Sapp.

 Lorita graduated from Mt. Pulaski High School.

 She raised her children and worked at Calvary Temple in Springfield as a daycare provider for mainly infants and toddlers.

 Lorita loved to shop, cook, and her dogs, kids, and grandchildren. She especially loved spending time with her family.

 She had a deep faith in God and she is now in peace with him.

 Private graveside services will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville.
