Sean Clark

Sean Clark, age 21, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 in Springfield, IL.

He was born on July 19, 2005, in Litchfield, IL, the son of Michael and Jill (Meisenheimer) Clark.

Mourning his passing are his fiancée, Madisyn Antonacci; his parents, Mike and Jill; brother, Michael (wife Terri) Flowers, Jr.; grandmother, Francis Kay Clark; one aunt; two uncles, several cousins, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Clifford “Kip” Clark; and his fiancée’s uncle, Jason Tomlin.

Sean graduated from Southeast High School in 2023.

He worked for Kim’s Autobody in Springfield as an autobody technician for nearly two years. He truly loved his job and everyone he worked with at Kim’s.

Sean enjoyed being outdoors with his friends, listening to music, and his passion was working with vehicles. He loved his two beloved pets, Clifford and Bugs.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorial services for Sean will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.
