Sharon Eller, age 73, of Petersburg, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home, in Petersburg.     

Sharon was born on October 1, 1946 in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Norman and Gladys (Tisdale) Williams.               

Sharon is survived by her husband, Joe; her children, Stephanie Lester, Jason (wife Amie) Lester, Jenny (husband Everett) Qualls, Jacquie (husband Steve) Wolf-Harris, and Joe Jr. (wife Theresa) Eller; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marguerite Smith; and several nieces and nephews.   

She enjoyed gardening, interior decorating, and especially shopping.

Cremation rites will be accorded. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Living Faith Baptist Church in Sherman from 4:00 until 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 1, 2019 with a prayer service at 4:00 PM with Pastor Adam Cruse officiating.  Another Celebration of Life will also be held at Cicero Christian Church in Cicero, IN from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on December 7, 2019 with Pastor Rick Cochran officiating.  A “Time of Remembering” will be hosted by Stephanie and Jason Lester at the Carriage House in Tillsonburg, Ontario, starting at 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2019.

Memorials can be made to Living Faith Baptist Church in Sherman.

Mott & Henning Funeral Home is assisting the family.

  3. Dear Joe and family, we are so sorry that we can’t be there with you but you are here with us in our thoughts and prayers. We will surely miss our visits for breakfast when you two visited Tillsonburg. I went up to the cemetery and sat with uncle Norm and aunt Gladys it was quiet and peaceful, I found it hard to find the words but I am sure the three of them where smiling down at me, we will miss her dearly. All our love.
