Shirley Fuchs, age 85, of Cantrall, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 St. John’s Hospice.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey; children Nancy Fuchs, David Fuchs, Carol (Derek) Squires; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Mildred Hinch and Beulah Harris.
Shirley was born March 29, 1929 in Cantrall, IL, daughter of Amiable and Iva (Foster) Devocelle.
She married was married to Harvey Fuchs for 63 years.
She graduated from Athens High School in 1947.
Shirley was a member Immanuel Lutheran Church in Athens, IL and a member of the Ruth Naomi Society.
She loved her family flowers and watching birds.
Visitation will be from 10 : 11 AM on Monday, November 10, 2014 with funeral services to follow at 11 AM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens, IL.
Rev. Richard Becker will be officiating.
Burial will be held at Brittin Cemetery.

So very sorry to learn of your loss. I remember fondly the times when much of our lives centered around the Cantrall School. She was always a smiling lovely lady.
