Shirley Kieffer, age 90, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at her home in Williamsville.
She was born on September 15, 1933 in Morrisonville, Illinois the daughter of Charles and Stella (Haywood) Friedrich. Shirley married James Kieffer on December 15, 1951.
Shirley is survived by her six children, Denny (Nanci) Kieffer, Sheila (Mike) Midiri, Bruce (Deborah) Kieffer, Tony (Susan) Kieffer, Rex (Debbie) Kieffer, and Pam (Clyde) Ross; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Friedrich; sister, Jean Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
She preceded in death by her husband, James in 2023.
A graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 3:30 PM at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to donor’s charity of choice.

Our family is sending our condolence for the loss of your mother. Jim and Shirley were some of the last of the original Mid American couples. We all have fond memories of them both .
